Important Poker Phrases (5)

It can be tough to decipher the articles aimed at helping you win in casinos for USA players, so I will continue defining key poker terms in today’s article. Every now and then I come across a term that even I didn’t know!

Let’s take a look at “Mexican Bankroll”, a bunch of one dollar bills in between a couple 100’s. I know that this term won’t really help you crush the games on your Bwin Poker download, but it was the M term that stood out the most for me!

The next poker phrase I want to define is the “nuts”. If you are playing cash games on Tiger Gaming and you have the nuts, it is saying that you have the best possible hand. One thing to keep in mind is that the nuts can change from street to street. For example, QQ is the nuts on a Q45 flop, but if the turn is a 6, it is no longer the nuts.

Any basic poker video regarding Hold’em usually tells new players that they do not want to be “outkicked” after the river falls. It is important to strive for the highest kicker possible because the kicker is the tie breaker if two players have the same pair. If you have AQ and you flop a pair of aces, the queen in your hand is your kicker.

The last term I will define today is “polarized range”. If you are playing tournaments on an Everest Poker download and you have a polarized range in a situation, it means that your hand is either very strong or very weak.

Last week I used a slot machine download and spent a few hours on the slot machines, but I did not find them nearly as fun as poker. If you have yet to give poker a try, you are definitely missing out! My earlier articles should help you get started, and then be sure to check back in a month for another key terms update.
